Answered Prayers and Encouraging Words
Answered Prayers and Encouraging Words
Today, our family took the first big step into our itineration efforts. We had the amazing opportunity to share about what God has called us to do, with our home church Spring Creek Assembly. We were encouraged as our church family gathered around us to pray during service.
Pastor Ron preached the second part of his sermon series "Seven Prayers God Always Answers." The message was based off of 1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him." It was a really good message, and I am excited to hear part three next Sunday. I encourage everyone to listen to it when it becomes available at SpringCreekAssembly.com.
Pastor encouraged everyone to start a prayer journal, so we can keep track of when God answers our prayers. He recommended that we make our prayer journals with 4 columns (Date / Prayer / Date / Answer). The general idea is to write down the date and the prayer request, and then when God answers your prayer, to record the date and answer God gave. This lead me to create my own prayer journal to keep track of when God answers my prayers. If you don't have a prayer journal, please feel free to download and print the one I created (use the Green "Prayer Journal - Download" button below). You can fold it to keep it in your Bible, you can hole punch it to put in a binder, or simply hang it on your fridge.
Thank You Pastor Ron and Spring Creek Assembly for giving us the opportunity to share with you today!
