Launching a New English Service
This past Sunday marked a new beginning for us. We held our very first English service! It was a beautiful evening filled with fellowship, worship, and a timely message from God’s Word.
As people began to arrive, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We kicked off with a time of fellowship, offering coffee and light snacks for everyone to enjoy. It was a wonderful opportunity for members of the English-speaking community in and around Camarma (the villiage we live in) to connect, share stories, and build relationships. The kids also had a great time engaging at our activity table, where they could draw, color, and take part in fun activities during the service.
A Spirit-Led Time of Worship
After our time of fellowship, we transitioned into worship. The Spirit of God was truly present as we lifted our voices in praise. There’s something powerful about worshiping in your heart language—being able to express your love for God with all the depth and nuance that language brings. The energy in the room was tangible, and you could feel hearts being drawn closer to the Lord with every song.
Compassion in Action: The Message from Luke 7:11-17
I had the privilege of sharing a message from Luke 7:11-17, titled "Compassion in Action." This passage tells the story of Jesus raising a widow’s son from the dead in the town of Nain. What stood out to me in preparing this sermon was not just the miracle itself but the compassion that moved Jesus to act. The heart of Christ was stirred by the grief of the widow—He saw her pain, and He responded with both compassion and power.
In many ways, that’s what our English service is all about. We want to be a community that sees the needs around us and responds, not just with words, but with action. We are called to mirror Christ’s compassion, moving beyond just feeling sympathy to truly helping those in need. It was a timely reminder for all of us that we are God’s hands and feet, carrying His love to those around us.

Looking Forward
Our first service was attended by about 30 adults and 10 children, and we’re excited about what God has in store for the future! If you’re an English speaker living in the Camarma and surrounding area, we would love for you to join us. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, we’re here to worship, grow, and serve together. There’s room for everyone.
We’ll be meeting on the first Sunday of each month, and we can’t wait to see how God will use these times to grow our community and deepen our relationships with Him. Thank you to the amazing leadership team and everyone who made this first service such a success. We look forward to seeing you next month!
Let’s continue to walk in compassion, turning our faith into action.
