God’s Majestic Sunrise

God’s Majestic Sunrise

God has really blessed me here in Spain. Our house is located in a small pueblo about forty-five minutes outside of Madrid. The east side of the house overlooks farmland that sits on top of several hills. Every morning as I eat breakfast and read my Bible I get to watch a beautiful sunrise. With each new day comes a new scene of God’s glory and goodness.

Most days I’ll take a few minutes to take in the majesty of the moment. Then I’ll grab my camera, go to one of the upstairs windows, and capture a few frames before I leave for class. It always amazes me how each morning’s sunrise is different from the previous day.

Today, I want to share some of the images I captured and some Bible verses. My hope is that somehow someone may be encouraged.

If you are encouraged by this post or if you have an encouraging verse to share, let us know in the comments below.

Proverbs 4:18 (NLT) “The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.”

Luke 1:78-79 (NLT) Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”

Ecclesiastes 11:7 (NLT) Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.

Psalm 118:24 (NLT) This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

John 1:4-5 (NLT) The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
